How Many Floor Tiles Do You Need?
To find floor tiles, multiply room length by width for the area, then divide by the area of one tile, and add 10 percent waste. A 10 by 13 foot floor is 130 square feet; with 18 by 18 inch tiles (2.25 square feet each) that is about 58 tiles, or 64 with waste. The calculator works for any tile size and gives the box count from your product coverage.
What Tile Size Is Best for Floors?
